You might change the color of your iPhone 15 simply by holding it.

In a support document Thursday, Apple indicated that fingerprints might “temporarily alter the color” of the titanium frame the company uses on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, MacRumors reports. A number of social media posts called out the issue this week:

Apple says the discoloration is temporary. To get your iPhone back to normal, just wipe off your fingerprints. "For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the oil from your skin might temporarily alter the color of the outside band," the company says. "Wiping your iPhone with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth will restore the original look.”

In the same support document, Apple notes that it’s okay to use a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe, 75% ethyl alcohol wipe, or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes to gently clean the exterior of your phone when other mishaps happen.

The company advises against cleaning your phone with products containing bleach or hydrogen peroxide or doing anything that might get moisture in any of the iPhone’s openings.

Similar complaints have emerged about Apple's FineWoven material, its replacement for leather on accessories like cases and wallets, though leather is also not going to do well when exposed to salt water (or avocado toast).
