When it comes to streaming video, the content pile is vast, and you've got the whole weekend to decide how you want to slice it. There are now too many shows and movies to choose from, spread across too many video-streaming services. We make it easy for you. Each week, we highlight the streaming content we're excited to watch or think you should binge. Fire up your media-streaming device of choice and start watching.

Red, White & Royal Blue (Prime Video)

Rom-coms are alive and well on streaming services. This one gets the royal treatment: The Prince of England meets the son of the Vice President of the United States, and it's hate at first sight. Not to give too much away, but they do have a fairy-tale ending.

The Monkey King (Netflix)

The Monkey King is the newest adaptation of the Ming Dynasty epic Journey to the West, and it's an animated version. Jimmy O. Yang as the Monkey King steals a stick from the Dragon King (Bowen Yang) and sets off a war. It has a stellar cast that also includes BD Wong, Stephanie Hsu, and Jo Koy. And if you need more Monkey King in your life afterward, try American-Born Chinese on Disney+.

Harlan Coben’s Shelter (Prime Video)

This pack of crime-solving teenagers does not have a Mystery Van to drive around in, but they'll probably uncover who's behind all of those disappearances in their town regardless. In case you could not tell from the title, this series is based on the Shelter book series by, you guessed it, Harlan Coben. You should be a detective.

Miguel Wants to Fight (Hulu)

Miguel is about to move out of his pugilistically inclined town, to the big city. But before he goes, he wants to... Well, once again, this is right in the title. His friends set out to help him take down anyone he can.

Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie (Apple TV+)

As the sidekick of a sidekick, Marcie has never gotten her due in the Peanuts universe. That changes with Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie, in which she runs for student council president. The special is one in a series from Charles Schulz's son, Craig Schulz.

Star Wars: Ahsoka (Disney+)

It's another Star Wars show. Who can even keep up anymore? This one is both a continuation of the animated Star Wars Rebels and a spinoff of The Mandalorian. All we really needed to know, though, is that it stars Rosario Dawson. You'll have to wait a few more days beyond the weekend: It premieres at midnight on Wednesday, August 23.
