More Jordan Poole-Draymond Green drama incoming. The former Warriors teammates have made headlines yet again, and this time Poole's dad got involved.

Anything that comes out on Patrick Beverley's podcast will undoubtedly ruffle some feathers. On Tuesday, Warriors star Draymond Green told Beverley that his preseason incident with Jordan Poole wasn't a spontaneous action, intimating that he and Poole had argued about something long before the punch and that Poole had maybe even crossed a line first.

The Golden State Warriors never recovered from that debacle and the rift between Green and Poole appeared to be only widening. The Warriors dealt Poole to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul in an offseason trade, and that was that.

Or was it?

Green's latest comments on Beverley's podcast incited a NSFW responded from none other than Poole's dad, who went to Twitter to defend his son's honor.

In response to Green's claim that he "doesn't just hit people," Poole's dad called Green out for his "b.s." and added a veiled threat: "me and him can meet anytime he want."

Is Poole's dad vs. Green the NBA's version of Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk? The parallels don't quite match up, but the reckless fighting spirit is there.

Warriors: Jordan Poole's father sounds off on "lame" Draymond Green

Among Poole's dad's frustrations was the fact that Green never apologized to him during the season for punching his son.

Poole, for his part, has since unfollowed Green on Instagram in a passive-aggressive celebrity-speak way of saying: Screw you. Friendship over.

Once hailed as the next golden boy of the Warriors' dynasty, guard Jordan Poole fizzled out in the 2022-23 season and turned into one of the fanbase's most hated characters. That plus the punch made for a very painful year for Poole, and he'll look to regain some confidence in Washington this season.

The Warriors had to bite the bullet in trading Poole knowing they had given him a lucrative extension not too long ago; however, for the sake of clearing the air and washing away the bad blood, Poole just had to go. Golden State's core — Green, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevon Looney — will remain the same for the upcoming season with the added boost of veteran leadership in Chris Paul.

Green will probably run into Poole's dad when the Warriors face the Wizards this year, and judging by the course of things, there may be more trash-talking than pleasantries.
