The release of Valorant Patch 6.02 will be delayed as Riot Games experiences issues with their PBE.

Valorant players eager for Patch 6.02 will have to wait longer than anticipated.

Last week, Riot Games released Patch 6.01 to eliminate bugs plaguing Lotus, the new competitive map introduced with Episode 6. The update also fixed Killjoy's Nanoswarm, removed Replication from the public Modes queue, and reduced the volume of Lotus' revolving doors.

Valorant typically delivers regular updates to the game based on player feedback. The developers especially listen to those participating in their Public Beta Environment. The PBE is a way to test new updates before the game goes out to the public. Any bugs or other issues popping up in the PBE can be fixed prior to release.

Unfortunately, the testing and schedule for the release of Patch 6.02 has been delayed.

Valorant Patch 6.02 Release Date

As posted by Pruvided, the upcoming Valorant PBE for Patch 6.02 has been cancelled.

"There is an issue that's blocking Riot from successfully opening the PBE, so check back here for the next one at the beginning of February," the developer wrote. "Keep an eye on the schedule for future changes."

It looks like fans will have to wait two weeks for the next PBE, scheduled to open on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. ET.

Although the next update is coming later than expected, Patch 6.01 already fixed most of the bugs hindering gameplay. Hopefully any new features set to drop with the next patch will be worth the two-week delay.
