Rickie Fowler has remained in front of the 2023 US Open through three rounds, but he isn't the favorite to hold on and go wire-to-wire as the champion, that honor belongs to Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy closed the second round on a heater on Friday, going four under over the final five holes at Los Angeles Country Club to pull two back of the lead. Heading into Saturday's action, McIlroy is the betting favorite at +300 amongst a crowded leaderboard.
However, Fowler has maintained the pace at -10, holding a one shot lead over Wyndham Clark and two over both McIlroy and Xander Schauffele, that is out in front with 36 holes to play. He is the second choice to win the major at +360 at DraftKings Sportsbook.
It's a crowded leaderboard at LACC and many accomplished players are within striking distance, including Dustin Johnson who is at -6 and Scottie Scheffler at -5.
