The Tony Awards are being presented on Sunday with Oscar-winner and Tony Award nominee Ariana DeBose taking center-stage as the ceremony's host.

The Tony Awards are being presented on Sunday with Oscar-winner and Tony Award nominee Ariana DeBose taking center-stage as the ceremony's host.

The annual event honors theater professionals for achievements in Broadway shows. Going into the event, the musical "Some Like it Hot" leads among the nominees with 13, including best new musical.

Casts from the productions of "Funny Girl," "Camelot," "Into The Woods," "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" and others are slated to perform throughout the ceremony, along with a special performance for the 2023 Lifetime Achievement in the Theater recipients, Joel Grey and John Kander.

The Tony Awards are airing at 8pm EST on CBS and Paramount+.
