The latest entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology has finally been given a release trailer

The latest entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology has finally been given a release trailer. Having originally been announced in 2021, The Devil in Me will be the final title in the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology, with plans for more games seemingly coming at a later date. While this new title has not been given an official release date, the trailer reveals that it is planned to release sometime in Autumn 2022.

The new trailer shows the setting for The Devil in Me as a sadistic hotel filled with weapons and prisons. As always, the game features a large cast of characters that can either all be played by one person or can have various players interacting with them through the game's cooperative mode. The other staple of Supermassive titles is that nothing is guaranteed, and your actions will directly impact which characters live and die.

The Dark Pictures Anthology is the continuing series of story-driven horror games released by Supermassive Games. The series lives up to its name, functioning as an anthology of games united more by tone and genre than by a continuing storyline. All of the games share a narrator called The Curator, who introduces each story in a similar way to Rod Sterling in "The Twilight Zone."
