Stray has become Annapurna's biggest PC launch so far, having managed to rack up over 60,000 concurrent players on Steam in less than 24 hours.

According to SteamDB, Stray reached a peak of 62,963 concurrent players on Steam less than 24 hours after its release, making it Annapurna's most successful PC launch to date. It's perhaps no surprise that Stray has been a fast hit with players, aside from its short runtime, the game allows players to control an adorable stray cat lost in a futuristic world.

Annapurna are perhaps best known for publishing expressive and often original games, many of which often leave their marks on players. Games such as What Remains of Edith Finch, Outer Wilds, and Journey are just a select few the company have published over the years.

While plenty of Annapurna's previous releases have proven popular, none have quite acheived the immediate popularity of Stray, which became the most wishlisted game on Steam ahead of its launch.

Stray is available to purchase on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam. Those with a PS Plus Extra or Premium subscription can download the game at no extra cost.
