Sea of Thieves has seen a nice resurgence recently. With the release of Season 7 happening on Aug. 4, the popular pirate game saw a ton of new items and content added, including some nifty cosmetic items.

The game has climbed back into the limelight and currently has a rating of "Very Positive" on Steam, with 90% of the 201,990 reviews being positive. Despite the game's recent success, Sea of Thieves unfortunately isn't immune to bugs and errors. One of the most common errors occurring right now is the "alabasterbeard" error. Here's how to fix it.

Sea of Thieves Alabasterbeard Error: How to Fix

According to the Sea of Thieves website, The Alabasterbeard error occurs when "connection to Xbox Live and/or the Sea of Thieves services has been disrupted or lost." This error is also commonly known as an Allmondbeard error or a Cyanbeard error.

Luckily, the fix is relatively simple. All players will have to do is check your console's network status in the settings of whichever console you are playing on. We also recommend disconnecting and reconnecting to your wifi via your console.

If you're still having any connectivity issues, run a network test in the settings page and your console should tell you what the issue is. Once your connection is established again, load Sea of Thieves back up and you should be able to connect and continue your pirate adventures.
