If you attended the Roblox Developer Conference between 2017 and 2020 your personal information might have been exposed in a recent data breach.

PC Gamer reports that popular gaming platform Roblox revealed this week that close to 4,000 names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, IP addresses and physical addresses were exposed due to a “third-party security issue.” In addition to other identifying personal information, hackers also obtained attendees T-shirt sizes.

Troy Hunt, creator of @haveibeenpwned posted messages he received from affected users suggesting that while the leak is getting some press now, the original data breach happened in December 18, 2020 and originally showed up in 2021 in a few niche cheating communities within Roblox. The data was recently re-published and has gathered more attention this time, with many of those affected now getting harassing phone calls and more.

Roblox did not publicly announce the breach until this week, and has reportedly contacted everyone that was affected, so no news is good news if you think you might be potentially impacted. Users that stand to be the most negatively affected by the breach were given a year of identity protection.
