Real Madrid forward Rodrygo is expected to be fit enough to feature against Cadiz.

Real Madrid expect Rodrygo to be fit and raring to go for Sunday's trip to Cadiz, despite returning from international duty with a knock.

Having already lost Vinicius Junior to a serious muscle injury and watched as Jude Bellingham suffered a shoulder problem earlier this month, Madrid fans were left sweating when Rodrygo returned from Brazil duty with a blow to his knee.

Several reports in Spain note that Rodrygo did not train with the team on Friday because of some discomfort in his knee, but the consensus is that 22-year-old will be ready to feature against Cadiz on Sunday.

Marca expect Rodrygo to have "no problems playing", while AS note that a return to full training is expected on Saturday.

Rodrygo's likely availability is a huge boost for a Madrid forward line which stands to be without star winger Vinicius for the next two months.

Bellingham, Madrid's top scorer, is also expected to be brought back into the starting lineup despite concerns over his shoulder injury.

A minor dislocation saw him withdraw from the England squad but Bellingham is expected to feature from the get-go against Cadiz even though club officials would prefer to keep him on the sidelines for a little while longer.

Dani Ceballos is expected back in training on Saturday but goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is dealing with a muscular injury, is not expected to return to action until later this month.

Madrid head into the weekend two points adrift of La Liga leaders Girona, who are not in action until Monday's visit from Athletic Club, meaning Ancelotti's men can climb to the top of the standings with three points.
