90min's Premier League team of the week after the 13th round of fixtures features Alejandro Garnacho, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jeremy Doku and players from five other clubs.

Gameweek 13 of the 2023/24 Premier League season really had something for everyone, didn't it?

For fans of high quality top of the table clashes, we had Manchester City's 1-1 draw with Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium, for fans of VAR controversy, we had Fulham's 3-2 win over Wolves and for fans of overhead kicks, we had Alejandro Garnacho's stunning goal against Everton.

And after all of that fun, 90min picks the Premier League team of the week.

Premier League team of the week: Gameweek 13

GK: Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) - Simply put, Aston Villa do not beat former Premier League leaders Tottenham Hotspur without an in-form Emi Martinez between the sticks. The World Cup winner put in an exceptional showing for Unai Emery's side, making six stunning stops to preserve a 2-1 win earned by goals from Pau Torres and Ollie Watkins.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) - Alexander-Arnold scored probably the most important goal of the season so far as Liverpool rescued a point at Manchester City. With Jeremy Doku giving him a headache at one end, Alexander-Arnold decided to strike back at the other, collecting Mohamed Salah's ball inside before firing a drilled low effort past the despairing dive of Alisson. It was pinpoint precision from Alexander-Arnold, further emphasising what he could offer England in a midfield role at next summer's Euros.

CB: Pau Torres (Aston Villa) - After a shaky start to life at Aston Villa, Pau Torres has really come into his own in recent weeks. The Spaniard was at his best in the win over Tottenham, winning six duels and making a goal line clearance at one end, and scoring a crucial equaliser at the other with a bullet header past Guglielmo Vicario.

CB: Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal) - As expected, Saturday's trip to Brentford wasn't a particularly fun one for Arsenal. The Gunners were forced to really dig in at the Gtech Community Stadium and rely on their centre-backs to keep things tight defensively - and they did exactly that. Gabriel was the standout performer in the backline for the Gunners, with his eight won duels giving his team the platform to go on and win the game through Kai Havertz.

LB: Tino Livramento (Newcastle United) - Instead of signing over a billion pounds worth of players, Chelsea probably should've had a bit more faith in academy graduates like Tino Livramento. If they did, Livramento might've completed 98% of his passes, won possession 12 times and won seven duels for the Blues instead of against them in Newcastle's 4-1 win at St. James' Park on Saturday.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United) - Whisper it: Manchester United may have found the answer to their midfield problems. In his first senior start for the Red Devils, Mainoo put in an incredibly mature performance against Everton in the middle of the park, using the ball effectively during his 72 minutes on the pitch.

CM: Joelinton (Newcastle United) - It's fair to say that Joelinton made mince meat of Enzo Fernandez on Saturday. The Brazilian dominated Chelsea's £105m man at St. James' Park, winning nine duels and scoring in the 4-1 win.

AM: Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United) - Of course Alejandro Garnacho is in the team of the week. The youngster scored the best goal anyone has seen anywhere in the last number of years over weekend.

RW: Mohammed Kudus (West Ham United) - In the same weekend Garnacho scored the goal of the season so far, Mohammed Kudus may have also notched up the best assist of the season so far too. The former Ajax man's cross into the back post area and into the path of Tomas Soucek was absolutely perfect, and came just minutes after he teed up West Ham's equaliser.

CF: Joao Pedro (Brighton & Hove Albion) - Introduced for the stricken Ansu Fati in the first half, Joao Pedro more than made the most of his minutes on the pitch against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. The Brazilian scored a stunning header and a cool penalty to earn his side a vital 3-2 win.

LW: Jeremy Doku (Manchester City) - Is Doku the funnest player to watch in the Premier League? After his 11 successful take-ons in the draw with Liverpool at the weekend - a Premier League so far this season - it's hard to argue otherwise.
