Today’s Samsung Unpacked event was good news for those who love the Galaxy line of phones, watches, and tablets. Among the upcoming releases announced were the latest in Samsung’s foldable phone line, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, and new Galaxy Tab S9 tablets.
Available in three models, the Galaxy Tab S9 tablet runs Samsung’s latest processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and comes in beige or graphite. The AMOLED screen varies in size based on model, but each has a rapid 120Hz refresh rate for smooth frame rates. The microSD slot supports up to 1TB of storage and each model comes with an S-Pen stylus. Also of note is the IP68 rating, which means these devices can resist dust intake and be submerged in water at depths of up to 3 meters—a feature that the Apple iPad lacks.
