A Poni Adventure, a season-exclusive Special Research, began on May 10, 2022. The fourth and final Special Research of the Season of Alola event, Pokemon GO players will embark on four tasks to help Professor Willow search for Tapu Fini, the guardian of Poni Island in Alola. This article will detail all steps, and respective rewards, of the Special Research.

1. Step 1

• Catch 10 Pokemon. (Reward: 10 Pokeballs.)
• Power up Pokemon 5 times. (Reward: 5 Razz Berries.)
• Defeat 2 Team GO Rocket Grunts. (Reward: 3 Hyper Potions.)

For competing all three tasks, you receive 500XP, 500 Stardust, and an encounter with Alolan Raticate.

2. Step 2

Catch 3 Water Type Pokemon. (Reward: encounter with Tentacruel).
Take a snapshot of a Water-type Pokemon. (Reward: encounter with Wailmer).
Use 5 Berries to help catch Pokemon. (Reward: encounter with Wingull).

For completing all three tasks, you receive 500XP, 500 Stardust, and a Technical Machine.

3. Step 3

• Walk 2KM. (Reward: encounter with Miltank.)
• Catch 15 Pokemon. (Reward: 10 Great Balls.)
• Spin 5 PokeStops or Gyms. (Reward: encounter with Stufful.)

For completing all three tasks, you receive 1000XP, 1000 Stardust, and a Premium Battle Pass. If you want to know more about the Season of Alola event, click here.

4. Step 4

• Send 5 Gifts to friends. (Reward: 10 Great Balls.)
• Catch 15 Pokemon. (Reward: 7 Pinap Berries.)
• Win a raid. (Reward: encounter with Alolan Exeggutor.)

For completing all three tasks, you will receive 8000XP, 3000 Stardust, and 15 Ultra Balls.

A Poni Adventure will be available to collect until June 1, 2022. Once you have received a Special Research, you can finish it at any time. The Season of Alola Event will also end on June 1, 2022.
