Some of the major free agents could change the power structure of the league by switching teams. But one NBA insider pegs four big names who are staying put.

According to NBA insider Howard Beck, four major free agents are looking to re-sign with their teams on long-term deals. Khris Middleton, Draymond Green, Russell Westbrook, and Brook Lopez have all been mentioned in multiple rumors and linked with a variety of suitors. But, according to Beck, all are expected to re-sign with their teams. In his words, don't expect "Fourth of July" fireworks.

What does this mean for the rest of the league?

What does this NBA insider report mean for each free agent?

This is another indicator that the Warriors and Green will re-sign this offseason. It was somewhat expected that he would re-sign with the team, likely on a three-year max deal. This may answer the question of whether a full five-year deal from another team would be enough to lure him away.

It seemed like Middleton would have re-signed with the Bucks after he helped pick the next head coach for the team. This is a deal that will most likely end badly due to his regression due to major injuries. Still, the Bucks will be faced with a Giannis Antetokounmpo-sized question if they are unable to get Middleton back.

This is a team that has an aging core that they may have to keep in order to keep Antetokounmpo on their team going forward. Brook Lopez is a bigger question for the team. He will reportedly get offered a lot of money from the Rockets in order for him to sign with the team. This seems to confirm that the Bucks will end up opening their wallet to keep Lopez going forward.

It would make a lot of sense for Russell Westbrook to end up with the Clippers. For a player who has been around a lot of teams for the last couple of seasons, it makes a lot of sense for him to stay in a place where he is welcomed and fits in a very nice role. At most, Westbrook could end up with a contract that is worth $3.8 million.

While this is very lower than he could receive on the open market, it might be time for the player to settle down for the right fit. He has made a lot of money in his career which could allow him to stay with a team due to his own happiness.
