Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to get a brand new multiplayer map as part of the Season 3 Reloaded update — Alboran Hatchery.

There's plenty of content on the way in Modern Warfare 2 as part of the mid-season update. Reloaded will see the addition of a new Special Ops Mission: Defender — Hafid Port, as well as Raid Episode 3, following Price, Farah and Alex as they head deeper into the Soviet Base in pursuit of Hadir.

Speaking of Alex, those who complete Raid Episode 3 will unlock him as an Operator to be used across both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Players can even earn a unique electrified camo by completing the episode on Veteran difficulty.

But that's not all. Modern Warfare 2 will also see the roll out of a new multiplayer 6v6 map — Alboran Hatchery.

According to a recent Call of Duty blog post, the map is set on rolling green hills beneath wind turbines. Players will see the fight lead them through the hatchery storage and warehouse facilities, using the map's series of cover objects and vantage points to gain the upperhand.

This medium-sized map will be a regular feature throughout Season 3 Reloaded, and will also be found in the Quick Play map pool. Activision have also encouraged fans to look out for an upcoming map guide on the Call of Duty blog in the coming days, offering closer details on the map's features.
