'Journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending'

Megan appeared in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition video, where she said, "When I was little, that was an obsession I had of, like, but I should look this way. And why I had an awareness of my body that young, I'm not sure, and it definitely wasn't environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren't even acknowledged. The journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending, I think."

Body dysmorphic disorder is defined as a "mental health condition in which a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance," with the so-called "flaws" often invisible to others. According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, it affects around one in every fifty individuals, equally affects men and women, and frequently manifests throughout adolescence.

In a lighter section of the interview, Fox also revealed her 'aura' is special. She stated the first thing she wishes people would notice about her is her "aura, because I have a rainbow aura, and it's special."

'Deep insecurities'

Megan's latest interview isn't the first time the attractive actress has spoken up about her body image issues. She initially mentioned suffering from body dysmorphia and having "deep insecurities" in October 2021. Megan told British GQ Style at the time, "We may look at somebody and think, 'That person's so beautiful. Their life must be so easy. They most likely don't feel that way about themselves."
