For those curious about some of the new content and updates coming to the popular MMORPG next year, here's a breakdown of everything you need to know about the Lost Ark early 2023 Roadmap.

Lost Ark Early 2023 Roadmap Revealed

First up, Lost Ark players can expect a special, limited-time The Witcher crossover event to begin in January. During the event, an all-new island's festivites are said to have been interrupted by a mystifying vortex. As players uncover the mysteries that lie there, they will experience encounters with characters from The Witcher in new event quests. New Witcher-themed cosmetics will also be available in the store, and new character customization scars, Cards, Stronghold structures, Emojis and more will be able to collect for those who participate in the event.

A quality-of-life update with improvements to guild systems, guild PvP, Una’s Tasks and more, will accompany the Lost Ark x Witcher event.

In February, Lost Ark’s one-year anniversary celebration will commence with a few special events for the occasion. Content for the Rowen Continent will arrive, beginning with Rowen's world quest which requires players to be at least Item Level 1445. At the end of the Rowen world quests, players must choose between two competing factions for open-world PvP: Preigelli and Liebertane.

Ranks for the Factions are divided into 15 tiers and can be earned by participating in activities to get Faction XP, such as killing the opposing faction's members and participating in daily, weekly and co-op quests. In February, the war between Preigelli and Liebertane will begin, but the competition is said to heat up further in March, when the Tulubik Battlefield releases.

In March, the Tulubik Battlefield PvP activity arrives as a 96-player (48v48) RvR experience with bases to capture, special secondary objectives and dozens of players to fight on the other team. Matches are held at specified times during the week. There are two types of matches that can occur:

Faction Rank 5 and Item Level 1490 is required to participate in the Tulubik Battlefield, and Faction XP can be earned by all those who answer their faction’s call to action.

The next major batch of quality-of-life updates will also arrive in March along with balance changes, new events and the third Arkpass.

Finally, April is set to introduce the Artist Advanced Class, Brelshaza Hard Mode and the Hanumatan Guardian Raid. The Artist is said to be the beginning of an entirely new class category, Specialists, who will have more than one appearance in 2023. The Artist is capable of tactical versatility with illusion powers from her brush, and specializes in supporting her team.

Brelshaza Hard Mode will require Item Level 1540 for gates 1 and 2, 1550 for gates 3 and 4 and 1560 for gates 5 and 6. Hard Mode will increase the difficulty and increase the rewards, introducing the new Ancient quality of gear and accessories.

Challenging Hanumatan in a Guardian Raid will require Item Level 1540, and like Brelshaza Hard Mode, Ancient accessories can be earned by successful parties.
