Liverpool's best and worst players from the comfortable 3-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.

Liverpool made it four games unbeaten to start their Premier League campaign on Sunday, dispatching of Aston Villa with ease at Anfield.

A tough game was expected against a decent Villa outfit, however the Reds made light work of things thanks to strikes from Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai and an own goal from Matty Cash.

Here's Liverpool's best and worst players from the win, according to 90min's player ratings.

Liverpool's best player vs Aston Villa

Mohamed Salah - 8/10

An Anfield swansong for Mohamed Salah?

With Al Ittihad hellbent on signing the legendary forward, preparing a world record bid in order to do so, the game against Aston Villa may very well have been Salah's last at Anfield.

And if it was, what a way to go out.

The forward was in inspired form on the right flank, bagging a goal and turning Pau Torres inside out an innumerate amount of times.

Honourable mention

Dominik Szoboszlai - 8/10

It looks like Liverpool have found themselves a potential superstar in Dominik Szoboszlai. The midfielder thoroughly impressed in his Anfield debut against Bournemouth a few weeks ago and he did the same in his second outing at the famous stadium.

This time, however, he also got his name on the scoresheet for the first time, firing home a stunning opening goal to set the Reds on their way to all three points.

Liverpool's worst player vs Aston Villa

Darwin Nunez - 5/10

Look, Nunez's performance wasn't all bad by any means. The forward did cause Villa's backline some issues with his runs and his link-up play with Salah.

However, Nunez is a striker who probably should've scored at least two goals on Sunday and he failed to convert any of the multitude of chances presented to him. The big miss, six yards out with an open net, was a particular lowlight.

Dishonourable mention

Joel Matip: 5/10

We're clutching at straws with our dishonourable mention from this game. Joel Matip gets the nod for, like Nunez, missing a great chance to score.
