Gianluigi Buffon has retired from football at the age of 45. The legendary goalkeeper reached exceptional milestones for club and country over the course of an incredible 28-year career. He was capped 176 times for Italy, winning the 2006 World Cup, while also featuring for some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Buffon started his career at Parma, before playing 17 seasons with Juventus.
