League of Legends Mythic Lethality item changes will be considered for Prowler's Claw and Duskblade of Draktharr.

In League of Legends, Lethality equates to flat armor penetration. This means that Lethality is more effective against targets with relatively low armor. If the target has a high armor value, then percentage armor penetration would be more efficient.

Lethality is utilized by assassin champions to shred through glass cannons, like mages or ADC characters. Generally, Lethality has been balanced well, but there are a couple of Mythic Lethality items that Riot Games is looking to nerf.

Here are the two Mythic Lethality items that are likely going to be changed this season.

League of Legends Mythic Lethality Item Changes Being Considered

League of Legends designer, Riot Axes, stated in a "Quick Gameplay Thoughts" post that two Mythic Lethality Items were too strong, with one being way too overpowered.

The first item of these is Prowler's Claw, which helped Rek'Sai become playable due to the item's active allowing champions to dive onto enemy characters. Although this item helped some characters become relevant in the meta, Riot Axes said that there was too little counterplay to the item at high skill levels. Therefore, Riot is looking to change Prowler's Claw and make it more fair to play against.

The second item was Duskblade of Draktharr, which can be used on non-assassin champions in ways that Riot is disliking. The main draw to this item is the immense slow that it provides, and it allows champions to go invisible for 1.5 seconds after acquiring a takedown on an enemy champion.

These changes do not have an official release date yet, as it will likely be later in the season.
