HIDDEN HILLS, CALIFORNIA: In a previous episode of their Hulu series 'The Kardashians', Kris Jenner and daughter Kim Kardashian had an open discussion about the drawbacks of celebrity. The Kardashian matriarch is now talking about juggling her roles as a supermom and an elite manager, and she is also disclosing how she manages it all.

Kris discovered a "good rhythm" in her roles as manager and mother. 'The Kardashians' star described how she balances both jobs in an interview with TooFab to discuss her collaboration with Papa Johns and Doritos, disclosing the "key" to viewing both the professional and personal side of a scenario.

'Have such a good rhythm in place'

The 67-year-old matriarch, who has daughters Kendall, 27, and Kylie, 25, with ex-husband Caitlyn Jenner, along with Kourtney, 44, Kim, 42, and Khloe, 39, as well as son Rob, 36, with late husband Robert Kardashian, believes that communication is the "key" to having both a professional and personal relationship with her children.

For almost 20 years, she has overseen the professional lives of her celebrity children. Kris told TooFab, "I've been a mom and a manager for so long now that we have such a good rhythm in place. Sometimes the roles do overlap, but I try to see it from both sides and ensure that I'm being the most supportive for that situation. The key is always communication."

Kris also hinted that the famous family has been filming for the fourth season of their Hulu series 'The Kardashians' and has even been planning for Christmas several months in advance because the holiday season is her "favorite time" of the year. Kris has turned her family into a billion-dollar industry since the launch of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' in 2007 and watched them expand with multiple business ventures and endorsement deals.

The momager added, "I love summer! We've been filming our next season for the Hulu show so it's been busy so far but looking forward to hopefully traveling before the summer ends. I love to start planning for birthday celebrations and gifts months in advance. I actually start planning for Christmas in July. These special moments and holidays are my favorite times of the year."

Kris Jenner's journey as a momager

Kris and her family shot to fame after debuting on E!'s 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' in 2007, and in the more than 15 years since, she and her daughters have founded and launched several dozen brands, like Kim's SKIMS, Khloe's Good American, Kylie's Kylie Cosmetics, and Kourtney's POOSH, in addition to endless partnerships and collaborations.

Kris revealed that she is the one who approaches prospective partners with a potential concept and that she is "always looking for ways to connect" with the businesses she and her family adore. "It's been an incredible journey to get work with some of the best companies out there!," she continued. "When one of the girls has an idea or a find, I usually take the lead on seeing what we can do to create a partnership."

Kris is currently pursuing her own project after working with Papa John's and Doritos to introduce the Doritos Cool Ranch Papadia, a mix of the "Italian flatbread-style sandwich" from Papa John's and Cool Ranch-flavored Doritos.

What does 'momager' mean?

According to Cambridge Dictionary, the term "momager" means a famous person's mother who also serves as their manager. Long before Kardashian became a household name, reality television queen Kris Jenner was overseeing the careers of her children. She created the word "momager" to describe mothers who manage their children's talent.

What do the Kardashian sisters, Justin Timberlake, and Heidi Klum have in common? The answer is that they all employed their parents as managers. Being in charge of your child has its benefits since no one knows them better than you do. While a hired manager will prioritize career ambitions, parents will always put their child's personal interests and general well-being first.
