Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, remaster of the 2007 PSP title Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, is set to release on Dec. 13, 2022. The remaster was announced back in June, as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the original Final Fantasy VII.

Set seven years prior to the events of Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core follows Zack Fair, a young Shinra SOLDIER operative, as he uncovers the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments. Aside from featuring new HD graphics, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion also makes use of an updated combat system and a newly arranged soundtrack.

With the game's release date slowly creeping up, players might be hoping for a Xbox release.

Despite Final Fantasy VII Remake being a PlayStation console-exclusive, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will be getting a release on Xbox.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion will be releasing on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on Dec. 13, 2022 — the same day as its PlayStation release. The game will also be released on Nintendo Switch and PC.
