The presenting trio have been joined by the likes of reality stars Tasha Ghouri and Sophie Haboo, 'The One Show' host alex Jones, 'Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway and former 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge Arlene Phillips in backing the charity's annual Christmas Jumper Day, which falls on 7 December.

Holly said: “Christmas Jumper Day is a really fabulous way of raising lots of money for Save the Children and it's so easy to get involved! Simply put on your favourite Christmas jumper on 7th December and donate £2.

"You don't even need a new jumper to take part, you can dig out an old knit that you've had for years or go to a charity shop and find a cool vintage one."

Meanwhile, 'Love Island' host Laura urged people to swap clothes with a friend if they need a seasonal refresh.

She said: “Most of us have a festive jumper somewhere in our wardrobe, and if not, why not borrow one from a friend? I’m always letting friends borrow my clothes, and they let me borrow theirs in return.

And for Lauren, she suggested participants raid charity chops for a "bonkers" festive find.

She said: “I often wear vintage clothes - especially Christmas party wear. I love vintage shopping as you never know what you’re going to find. Sometimes you come across an item and it just feels like destiny!

"I’d urge everyone to get involved in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on 7th December.

"See what vintage jumpers you can find in your local charity shop - you might come across something completely bonkers that you just have to take home and wear for years to come!"

Participants are asked to don their favourite sustainable sweater and donate £2 per adult and £1 per child to Save the Children, with funds going to help disadvantaged children across the world.
