Google is making it easier to find out if your personal information is on the web and get rid of private information that right shows up in search results.

In a blog post posted Thursday, Google announced an update to its “Results about you” tool that will let you know whenever it finds your personal contact information in Search so you can get it removed.

Google launched “Results about you” last year as a one-stop-shop for users to ask for search results to be removed that include personal information such as their home address, email, or phone number.

The update takes things a step further by letting you know about those offending search results rather than you having to find them on your own. At launch, the tool will let you know where it’s found your personal information on the web. The tool will also let you know when new results containing your contact information show up on the web as well.

The new dashboard is slowly rolling out to users now. You’ll be able to access it by clicking on your Google profile picture and then selecting “Results about you” from the drop-down menu. You can also visit Results about you directly.

The updated Results about you tool will be available in the United States in English to start and will roll out in other locations and other languages soon.

In addition to the updated Results about you dashboard Google also announced it will be rolling out its new SafeSearch blurring setting globally this month. Announced earlier this year, the setting blurs adult and graphic content by default when it shows up in Search results.
