Epic Games teased the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 theme by sending a framed portrait of a moon to a creator, possibly hinting that the return of the Ice Moon.

With only two weeks left in Fortnite WILDS, Epic Games has begun teasing the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 theme.

Fortnite WILDS brought the jungle to Fortnite, introducing a new biome, deadly flowers, and Raptors to the Battle Royale. The theme (and the season) ultimately fell short following the success of Fortnite MEGA. Now, as fans prepare for the next major Fortnite update, Epic Games has revealed a key piece of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 theme.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Theme Teased

Teasers for the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 theme reveal the Battle Royale's next season has something to do with the moon. Brazilian Fortnite content creator, Sharshock, posted a package he received from Epic Games that contained a framed photo of a blood moon.

The accompanying letter reads, "Thanks-for adding to my collection. Kouji Datura." The cryptic message will likely make more sense in the following days as Epic Games starts releasing more and more information about the next season.

The moon could refer to the Ice Moon from the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event, The Collision. The Ice Moon delivered the Mecha to the island over a year ago, and now, it seems it could potentially return to drop some more unexpected creatures to Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Leaks

Unlike previous Fortnite seasons, there have not been many Chapter 4 Season 4 leaks. We expect there to be a new biome added to the map, possibly in the medieval section, that features new POIs somehow related to the moon.

Reliable Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR, also reported that the long-awaited Fortnite x LEGO collaboration might close out the season. The crossover is "rumored to be so big that it could be considered the size of a new season."

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Release Date

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 comes out on Friday, Aug. 25. As of now, there have been no reports of a live event ushering in the new season. However, if indeed the Ice Moon is making its return, we could potentially see the first Fortnite in-game live event since The Collision.
