Monaco, where qualifying is almost always more important than the race itself. Here's how the grid will start — and quite possibly, finish — on Sunday.

Monaco might be one of the most iconic Grand Prix events on the Formula One calendar, but let's be honest, it's not good racing. Monaco, a tightly-squeezed street circuit through the streets of the yacht-lined city, does not make for overtaking opportunities.

For that reason, the qualifying order is everything. Even quick cars only get limited opportunities to overtake. Those starting later in the grid than they'd prefer to are crossing their fingers for a lucky DNF for cars in front of them to move up just as much as they are banking on their own driving.

So, Saturday is everything. Getting those lap times in early can make for a breezy Sunday or a stressful one. But really, that's true every week.

As a reminder, here's how qualifying works.
