Breaking down every Phillies no-hitter in franchise history with a look at the dates, pitchers, games, the last time it happened, and more.

Michael Lorenzen has thrown a no-hitter for the Philadelphia Phillies.

The trade deadline addition from the Detroit Tigers, Lorenzen blanked the rival Washington Nationals on Wednesday night, stretching out to 124 pitches to get the win and keeping the division rivals out of the hit column.

The 31-year-old has now thrown the 14th no-hitter in the history of the Phillies, allowing four walks but leading the way in a 7-0 victory for the Phils. But let's look back at the history of this feat for the franchise now that Lorenzen has added his name to the list.

When was the last Phillies no-hitter?

Michael Lorenzen has now thrown the most recent no-hitter in Phillies history, doing so on Wednesday, Aug. 9 against the Washington Nationals.

Prior to that, it was Cole Hamels on July 25, 2015 when he threw a no-no against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field that was the last time a pitcher achieved the feat for Philadelphia. That one was also the first no-hitter at Wrigley since 1972 at the time.
