Hideo Kojima revealed a trailer for the upcoming sequel to Death Stranding during The Game Awards 2022.

Death Stranding 2 (working title) was announced last night during The Game Awards 2022. Midway through the event, Kojima took to the stage to showcase the first trailer for the sequel. Centering on Léa Seydoux's character, who played Fragile in the original, we see her cradle a child while the environment shakes around her.

Later, we see Norman Reedus appear sporting new blonde locks. Its unclear if the two actors will be reprising their roles from the first game.

The cast so far includes Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Troy Baker.

Kojima Productions have been teasing the game for a number of weeks, posting dark, portrait teaser images featuring Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna.

A release date for the upcoming game has yet to be announced. Death Stranding 2 is currently in development for the PlayStation 5.
