Dead by Daylight has multiple HUDs including a status effect hub at the top of the screen.

Dead by Daylight has multiple HUDs including a status effect hub at the top of the screen. The first thing to understand is the difference between yellow and red status effects. Red means something negative is happening to your character and yellow means something good.

Dead by Daylight Yellow Status Effects

Undetectable (K)

The Undetectable Status Effect is a buff exclusively applied to the Killer.
Killers benefitting from Undetectable are granted several Stealth mechanics:

Suppresses the Terror Radius
Suppresses the Red Stain
Blocks their Aura

Perks that activate Undetectable.

Blessed

Survivors benefitting from Blessed are currently inside the Effect radius of 24 metres of an active Boon Totem, benefitting from its effects.

Endurance

Survivors benefitting from Endurance can resist damage from the Killer. Players who activate endurance and take a hit will have the broken status effect.

Haste

Dead by Daylight Red Status Effects

Blindness

The Blindness Status Effect is a debuff that can be applied to both Survivors and the Killer.

Perks that activate blindness.

Broken

Survivors suffering from Broken are unable to be healed or heal themselves past the Injured State.

Cursed

Survivors suffering from Cursed are currently affected by an active Hex Totem.

Perks that activate cursed.

Deep Wound

Survivors suffering from Deep Wound have a new yellow health bar that deteriorates over time. If they do not mend, when the bar empties, survivors are placed in a dying state.

Exhausted

Perks that activate Exhaused.

Exposed

Survivors suffering from Exposed can be downed with a single hit.

Perks that activate exposed.

Haemorrhage

Survivors suffering from Haemorrhage produce more pools of blood and will lose healing progress if they stop healing.

Hindered

Players movement speed has been slowed.

Incapacitated

Players are unable to interact with generators, totems, chests, hooks or other survivors.

Perks that activate Incapacitated.

Madness

Only from Doctor's power, Carter's Spark

Mangled

Survivors take 25% longer to heal while Mangled.

Perks that activate mangled.

Oblivious

Survivors can't hear the Terror Radius and also do not hear the Heartbeat warning of the Killer's proximity.
