Massive Monster has rolled out a new patch for Cult of the Lamb, heading to PlayStation and Xbox versions.

Cult of the Lamb, a cute if disturbing roguelike, life-sim mix, sees players take on the role of an innocent lamb who escapes the sacrificial altar thanks to a mysterious and onimous being. In exchange for salvation, the lamb must now build a following of worshippers and cleanse the world of non-believers. On release, the game contained a number of pesky bugs that primarily effected some features of the console version. Players found themselves softlocked in certain areas, unable to complete particular achievements, and encountered general bugs.

Massive Monster were quick to squash as many of the bugs as possible soon after launch, and have continued to roll out patches to improve the overall performance of the game.

In a tweet posted to the game's official Twitter account yesterday, the developers said, "We're so excited to let you know that we've slain many bugs on Xbox and PlayStation! A new update will be available TODAY and you can read the full patch notes below." The tweet went on to mention that a similar update would be heading to the Nintendo Switch soon.
