Previewing Crystal Palace's Premier League clash with Arsenal at Selhurst Park, including how to watch on TV, live stream, predicted lineups & prediction.

Crystal Palace host Arsenal at Selhurst Park on Monday night over a year after the pair met on the opening day of last season.

The Gunners ran out 2-0 winners on that occasion, banishing the painful memories of their defeat to Brentford on the opening day of 2021/22, and quickly proved their win over Patrick Vieira's side was no flash in the pan.

Arsenal went on to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title, while Palace went in an entirely different direction. After a promising first season in charge, Vieira was sacked as the Eagles threatened a battle against relegation, with former boss Roy Hodgson coming in to save the day.

He remains in charge in south London but will know he has work cut out for him against an entertaining and much improved Arsenal.

Here's 90min's preview of the game.

Crystal Palace team news

Palace shrugged off the departure of talisman Wilfried Zaha to Galatasaray before the season's start with a 1-0 win over Premier League new boys Sheffield United.

Odsonne Edouard scored the only goal at Bramall Lane, and he's likely to lead the line again as Palace look to get a first win in front of their home support.

Will Hughes and Nathan Ferguson are sidelined, as are Michael Olise and Matheus Franca - the former having recently signed a new four-year deal to commit his future to the club and the latter an exciting new signing for Palace.

Arsenal team news

Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow after scans revealed that the knee injury suffered by new signing Jurrien Timber is serious.

He needs to undergo surgery on an ACL tear, joining Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines, while Mohamed Elneny is still recovering from a long-term knee injury of his own. Folarin Balogun has a foot injury and Albert Sambi Lokonga, who spent last season on loan at Palace, is also unavailable.

Gabriel may come back into the starting lineup after being surprisingly dropped on the first day.

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal score prediction

Crystal Palace's win on the opening day of the season was a huge shot in the arm given the uncertainty around Olise's future.

The Eagles are a talented, hard-working side, and the Frenchman's commitment will serve the club well as they transition into a post-Zaha era.

They will be up against it though against Arsenal, who weren't at their best on the opening day of the season but showed glimmers of what they can do in the final third. Mikel Arteta's squad has greater depth, despite Timber's injury, and they will be a force to be reckoned with both at home and on the road.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli looked sharp against Nottingham Forest, and they'll fancy their chances of pushing Arsenal to a first three points away from the Emirates.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-3 Arsenal
