Carlo Ancelotti has stated that he believes Dani Ceballos and Nacho Fernandez are set to stay at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he expects both Dani Ceballos and Nacho Fernandez to stay at the club this summer.

Both player have deals at the Santiago Bernabeu that are due to expire at the end of June, with each being linked with moves abroad - notably of interest to Champions League finalists Inter.

However, Despite interest from elsewhere Ancelotti shared his belief when when speaking after Real Madrid's final day of the season draw with Athletic Club, that both players will remain at Real.

"With Nacho and Dani, my felling is they both stay," said the veteran coach.

Both players have been regulars for Los Blancos in recent times. Ceballos featured for the club on 46 occasions during the 2022/23 campaign, while Nacho played in 44 games.

News that Nacho and Ceballos are set to stay will come as a relief for fans after Karim Benzema's shock departure.

Speaking about the French forward leaving, Ancelotti said: "We cannot be happy, but we must respect him. He earned the right to decide. He has done legendary, unforgettable things.

"It was a surprise, but it is part of a transition process. We have time to think about what we will do. I spoke to him [on Sunday] morning and he told me he was leaving. I showed him all my respect for everything he has done."
