New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan took a shot at Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins at Von Miller's pass rush summit.

It may be the offseason, but that's not going to stop players from throwing some verbal jabs at their adversaries on the gridiron. It just so happens that this happened at a pass rush summit hosted by Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller.

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan gave some advice to the pass rushers. When talking about decision-making, Jordan took a shot at Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins. Specifically, Jordan said, "Slow, right decisions, we love them, call them Kirk Cousins."

"You see a little, you see a lot. You see a lot, you see a little. If you're so focused on, 'What's next? Where's his hand…Where does he like to throw these hands?' You're so worried about all these other factors you're slowing yourself down thinking. In this game, like everybody knows a fast wrong decision could be a right decision. And a fast right decision, you're a winner. And a slow right decision, get your ass on the bench, 'cause there's somebody going to be moving at a different speed. Slow right decisions, we love them, call them Kirk Cousins."

Cousins being criticized? This is nothing new. He's not an elite quarterback, but he's not a terrible quarterback. He's a good quarterback. And it just so happens that Cousins does have some bragging rights over Jordan and the Saints.

Yes, the Saints have beaten the Vikings twice during Cousins' tenure in Minnesota, but Cousins did beat them this past season. But the biggest flex that Cousins has is that he helped lead the Vikings to an upset victory over the Saints in the Wild Card Round in the 2019 season. In the 26-20 overtime, the quarterback completed 19-of-31 pass attempts for 242 yards and one touchdown. That score came in overtime when Cousins hit tight end Kyle Rudolph in the end zone. New Orleans was the No. 3 seed in the NFC that year and was expected to go on a run.

In his five career starts against the Saints as a member of the Vikings and the now-Washington Commanders, Cousins threw for 1,569 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions while completing 70.620-percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 117.6.

For those wondering, "I can't wait to see Cousins prove Jordan wrong," or "I can't wait for Jordan to prove everyone right that Cousins is mid," you'll have that opportunity. The Saints and the Vikings will play in Week 10 this season (Sunday, Nov. 12).
