Here's a breakdown of the Call of Duty Veteruns event in Warzone.

In honor of the Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) realizing its goal of placing 100,000 veterans into high-quality jobs, as well as this year's Military Appreciation Month, Activision and CODE announced that they will be hosting the first-ever charity race inside of a video game.

From May 26 to June 3, the Call of Duty Veteruns event will see Activision Blizzard allocate $1 to the Endowment for every 10 km individual players run in Warzone as part of a $1 million total donation, and dole out in-game and out-of-game prizes. Here's a breakdown of the Call of Duty Veteruns event in Warzone.

As discussed earlier, the only thing players need to do to participate during the event is run on foot in Caldera or Rebirth Island.

For their efforts, players will earn exclusive Calling Cards for use in-game:

Based on the Warzone report tech organized by the Twitter and Call of Duty team, players get a personalized report of their event stats by tweeting @CallofDuty with their Activision ID and the hashtag #CODVeteruns100K. They'll be sent their very own Call of Duty Veteruns Report detailing the total number of kilometers they've run in-game along with the funds allocated for the Endowment, which can be shared with their social network to encourage participation.

Activision also shared that there is a Top 100 Call of Duty Veteruns Leaderboard for players to get their names seen by all at www.callofduty.com/veteruns.
