It's a pitcher-friendly MLB prop slate on Tuesday night, and I'm expecting a couple of games to be low scoring with strong pitching matchups.

However, in the Pittsburgh Pirates-Chicago Cubs game, one of the starters is very fade worthy given his recent outings.

Let's dive into the picks for Tuesday, June 20:

Best MLB prop bets today

Texas Rangers-Chicago White Sox First 5 Innings UNDER 4.5 (-125)

This is a great pitching matchup between Dylan Cease and Nathan Eovaldi, and I think it stays low scoring early, despite the Texas Rangers' elite offense.

Eovaldi has been one of the best pitchers in the American League, allowing more than three earned runs in just two of his 14 starts this season.

He's also pitched at least five innings in all of those outings, setting a nice base for what to expect from him tonight.

As for Cease, he's coming off a strong outing against the Los Angeles Dodgers, giving up just two runs over 5.1 innings while punching out 10.

The right-hander has really turned things around after a slow start, posting a 3.00 ERA and 3.77 FIP over his last seven starts.

Chicago is just 25th in OPS this season, so even if the Rangers get to Cease, I don't see the White Sox lighting up Eovaldi to push this over.

Johan Oviedo OVER 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (+115)

Johan Oviedo has a second straight start against the Cubs, and he did not fare well in his last outing, giving up eight hits and four earned runs in 4.1 innings of work.

Oviedo's ERA is now at 4.40 on the season, and he's allowed three or more earned runs in six of his 14 starts this season. Chicago has crushed the Pirates' staff as of late, so I'll trust them to keep it going against Oviedo on Tuesday.

New York Yankees-Seattle Mariners NRFI (-150)

This is a perfect matchup to take the "No Run First Inning" and my colleague Josh Yourish agrees.

The New York Yankees are struggling mightily hitting the ball without Aaron Judge, ranking dead last in OPS in the month of June. Meanwhile, they have to take on George Kirby in this game, who held them to just three hits and no runs across eight innings earlier this season.

Kirby has a homecoming (he's from Westchester) in this matchup, but he does have to face Yankees ace Gerrit Cole. If there's any New York pitcher to trust, it's Cole, so I expect a relatively easy first six outs on Tuesday.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
