Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the progress of Red Bull Salzburg starlets Karim Konate, Lucas Gourna-Douath and Oscar Gloukh, sources have confirmed to 90min.

Salzburg have become known across Europe as a hotbed for some of football's best up-and-coming stars over the last decade, with the likes of Erling Haaland, Sadio Mane, Dayot Upamecano and Dominik Szoboszlai spending time with the Austrian side.

90min understands that various clubs from all over the continent have been keeping an eye on the progress of their current cohort.

Representatives of north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham were present at Salzburg's 2-0 win away at Tirol in the Austrian Bundesliga at the weekend to watch over forward Konate as well as midfielders Gourna-Douath and Gloukh in particular.

Konate, a 19-year-old full Ivory Coast international, scored both goals as Salzburg moved two points clear at the top of the table. Gourna-Douath, who joined in 2022 for an Austrian-record €15m from Saint-Etienne, played the full 90 minutes, while Israeli starlet Gloukh was withdrawn at half-time.

In addition to Arsenal and Spurs, Crystal Palace and West Ham United checked in on Konate's progress having both watched over him recently.

German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been keeping tabs on Gourna-Douath, who is a nominee for the 2023 Golden Boy award.

Salzburg have made an impressive start to their Champions League group despite only picking up three points from their opening three games. They kicked off their European campaign with a 2-0 win at Benfica before falling 2-0 at home to Real Sociedad and then succumbing to a 2-1 defeat at last season's finalists Inter. Gloukh scored in both of their away matches.
